The Temptations Review

The public was not to be disappointed. With the presence of Dennis Edwards, The Temptations enjoyed some of their most remarkable achievements. Beginning with a long string of #1 Hit records, such as....

Papa Was a Rollin' Stone...Memories...Psychedelic Shack...Ball of Confusion...Cloud Nine...Can't Get Next to You...and many, many more. Then the first Grammy award, which was also the first for MOTOWN Records, was won by The Temptations with Dennis Edwards as lead singer. That first award launched a succession of awards that culminated in....Fourteen Gold Albums....Seven Grammy Nominations and....Five Grammy Awards.

The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards knows how to generate wonderful "Memories" as they entertain audiences around the globe. For more than thirty-three years, Mr. Edwards, one of the last surviving members of The Legendary group The Temptations, has been making music.

Utilizing his unique style and smooth delivery, Mr. Edwards is known as one of the most influential singers in the history of Pop music. His 1989 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and his 1999 induction into the Alabama Hall of Fame confirms this fact. The sales of over 100 million recordings move audiences across the generations, from pre-teen to mature citizen.

In 1989, Edwards, after talking with friends and former groupmates Ruffin and Kendrick at the Temptations R&R Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, united with the pair, and the trio set off on a historical U.S. tour. A couple of years later, the unexpected deaths of his good friends, Ruffin and Kendrick, left Dennis alone. He has since formed several groups, attempting to use varying forms of the name "Temptations." He has battled in and out of court for use of some form of the name.

No matter what the result, Dennis Edwards is a true "Soul Survivor" and one of the most gifted singers of our time. He still has his sensuous and soulful voice, and no one can take that away. By the merciful grace of God, he is the only one of the classic Temptations' lead singers alive to continue the legacy.

Don't look any further...performing to sold-out audiences around the globe, The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards stir the memories of loyal 'Classic Five' fans as they create new ones, both young and old.
