The Tim Hewitt Group has performed at virtually every country club, hotel, and temple in the Detroit metro area. They have performed on stage at Hart Plaza, Pine Knob, and Meadowbrook Music Festival, where they have backed up The Drifters, Wolfman Jack, The Platters, and many other national acts.

The Tim Hewitt Group not only has a reputation around the Detroit metro area, but it is also common to find them playing in Ann Arbor, Canada, Flint, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Toledo and Traverse City.

Tim Hewitt takes large pride in the fact that most of his band members have been with him for up to eighteen years. He has compiled a group with not only extensive resumes, but who have experience working with some of the best: James Brown, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross, Santana, Bob Seger, The Supremes, and the Temptations, to name a few. Tim attributes much of his band's success with these fine people who happen to be some of the best musicians in the Detroit metro area.

"The gig went great - you're the best! (Great Chops)"
- Martha Reeves

"The Tim Hewitt Group was asked by Mort Crim Communication and Channel 4 WDIV to play for the 75th anniversary of the Easter Seals Telethon. They helped raised thousands of dollars for Easter Seals."
- Mort Crim

"Tim, thanks for backing me up at Meadowbrook. It went great!"
- Wolfman Jack
